Plextek Services Limited is the controller and responsible for your personal data (collectively referred as Plextek, “we”, “us” or “our” in this Privacy Policy).

The information we collect and process about you

We collect personal data:

  • When you download whitepapers from our website
  • When you engage with us using social media
  • When you contact us directly
  • When entering into a contract on behalf of your business
  • Through publicly available sources e.g. LinkedIn or websites

  • This website is not intended for children, and we do not knowingly collect data relating to children.

How we share and store your data

All personal data we collect, and process is stored on our secure servers, PCs and connected devices. We also store personal data on an external 3rd party Client Relationship Management (CRM) tool which uses a cloud based server hosted in the European Economic Area (EEA) to store data.

We have put in place appropriate security measures to prevent your personal data from being accidentally lost, used or accessed in an unauthorised way, altered or disclosed.

We have put in place procedures to deal with any suspected personal data breach and will notify you and the Information Commissioner’s Office of a breach where we are legally required to do so.

International data transfers and security

We will only transfer your data outside the EEA (including approved countries allowed within the data protection legislation) with your permission, unless it is required for legal purposes.

How long we hold your information

We will retain your personal data for as long as necessary to fulfil the purposes we collected it for, including for the purposes of satisfying any legal, accounting, or reporting requirements.

Your rights

You can make a formal request for information we hold about you. We will provide you with a copy of this information and the reasons it is being processed.

  • Right to withdraw consent: We only process your personal data based on your consent and you have the right to withdraw your consent at any time without affecting the lawfulness of processing.
  • Right to restrict or object: You have the right to restrict or object to the processing of certain personal information

In cases where we are processing your personal data on the basis of our legitimate interest, you can ask us to stop for reasons connected to your individual situation. We will then do so unless we believe we have a legitimate overriding reason to continue processing your personal data.

What happens if you don’t provide your information?

Where we need to collect personal data by law, or under the terms of a contract we have with the business you represent, and there is a failure to provide that data when requested, we may not be able to perform the contract.
